PDF migration utility · v2.3

USCIS AcroForm Field Migrator

Extract the AcroForm layer from an old USCIS edition, then transplant the original low-level AcroForm objects into a new edition at the same PDF page numbers and coordinates. v2.3 copies the source field/widget dictionaries and AcroForm resources directly - including /DA, /DR font resources, /Ff, /MK, /BS, /Border and the exact presence or absence of /AP - then remaps only each widget's /P page reference. The generated PDF is reopened and verified field-by-field before download.

Coordinates are PDF-space points. One point = 1/72 inch. A field can contain multiple widget annotations, so each widget retains its own page number and rectangle. Button appearance streams are copied directly from PDF-1 during migration; the JSON manifest remains geometry/semantics focused.
